Joint programmes

The University of Münster offers study programmes in numerous subjects that are offered in cooperation with international partners, so-called 'joint programmes'. This offer gives students the opportunity to complete their degree simultaneously at the University of Münster and at a foreign partner university. Students study at both or at several locations and often in several languages. Joint programmes are divided into joint degree programmes (joint certificate) and double degree programmes.

Transnational education programmes

Transnational education (TNE) programmes comprise all types of higher education programmes in which students complete at least part of their degree course – or, if they choose, the entire course – at a foreign university. TNE programmes are used by governments, as well as by universities, as an instrument for exporting or importing education.
